What happens to what you send.

Infinity Corporate Finance Limited is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Any question about it, email andy@infinitycf.co.uk.

What is collected, and why

If you use the contact form or email. Your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to say about yourself or your business. It is used to reply to you and, if we go on to talk again or work together, to keep track of the conversation. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, since you have asked to be contacted and replying is the obvious consequence.

If you ask for a place at a roundtable. Your name, email address and whatever you say about your business, used to work out whether there is room at the next one and to let you know about future ones.

When you visit the site. Nothing. There are no analytics on this website, no advertising trackers, and no cookies set by it. The company that serves the pages keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period for security and reliability.

What does not happen

Your information is never sold, and it is never shared with anyone for their own marketing. There is no mailing list, so sending an enquiry does not sign you up to anything.

Who else sees it

Two service providers process information on Infinity’s behalf: Netlify, which serves this website and passes on contact form submissions, and Google Workspace, which holds the email. Both act on instruction. Beyond that, personal information is shared only where the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Enquiries and correspondence are kept for as long as there is a live conversation and then for up to six years, which reflects normal business record keeping and the limitation period for contractual claims.

Where it is held

Netlify and Google may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers have in place, including the UK extension to the EU to US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, have it corrected if it is wrong, have it deleted, object to its use, or ask for its use to be restricted. Email and it will be dealt with. There is no form and no process.

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. Better to say so first, so it can be put right.

Confidentiality

Separately from all of the above: anything you say about your business, in an enquiry, a conversation or at a roundtable, is treated as confidential from the first contact, whether or not anything has been signed. If you would rather have a non-disclosure agreement in place before speaking, ask and one will be sent.
